The Wind of Change! Last week, Immigration and Custom Enforcement’s (ICE) Assistant Secretary John Morton sent a Memo to ICE’s staffs that may ease or cease enforcement of deportation for aliens who have pending immigrant applications and are likely to be approved. These are applicants that entered the U.S. illegally… or overstayed their legal entry and are now facing deportation, but for, immigrant applications that were filed on their behalf by family members AND would likely to receive the I-601 extreme hardship waivers.
